We will help you book the good local bus named Futa Bus, it costs about 170.000VNĐ /ticket, at 9:00 AM from Sai Gon to Can Tho city.  When you get to Can Tho bus station, our private car will pick up you and take you to our beautiful ecolodge.

When we finish tour in Chau Doc, you can book speed boat to Campodia or we help you book local bus back to Sai Gon.

Summary of Itinerary

• DAY 1: Sai Gon – Can Tho – Biking tour in country
• DAY 2: Can Tho – Floating Market – Chau Doc
• DAY 3: Chau Doc – Tra Su forest

DAY 1:  SAI GON - CAN THO BIKING TOUR (lunch, dinner)

In the afternoon, pick up tourists from Can Tho airport or bus station, we will check-in Mekong Silt Ecolodge (15 km away from center of Can Tho city) and we take bikes and get on the ferry to the other side of the river, riding around a beautiful village, get to know the locals' daily activities.

Then we will visit a blacksmith on the way, he is the only man working in that place and keep riding on a very nice road with a lot of fruits gardens, flowers then we stop at a local house to learn to make fresh rice noodle -"Banh Hoi Mat Vong" the only one place making this kind of noodle in Vietnam.

We ride a bit more and visit another local house to make banana cake and get to taste some, it is a very nice cake you will try. On the way, we can see “monkey bridge”, get to know the locals’life. Overnight and have dinner in ecolodge.

DAY 2: FLOATING MARKET + CHAU DOC (breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Start at 6:00 am, we take the small boat to Cai Rang Floating Market – the biggest wholesale floating market in the Mekong Delta. The Cai Rang Floating Market is well known for its variety of fresh fruits and other local products. Hundreds of boats still gather there to buy and sell every morning. We will have breakfast and coffee at the market, enjoy fresh pineapple on the local’s boat. This is a unique opportunity to experience everyday life on the Mekong.

Afterwards, we visit a local house to see how the locals make rice noodle “hu tieu”. On the way back we will visit Cocoa garden to see first-hand how the locals make fresh chocolate and get to taste some.

We will get back onborard the boat and journey into a very beautiful canal with lots of water coconut on both sides of river. If you are intersted in rowing the boat, there will be an opportunity here to learn. Get back to check out, have light lunch and keep going to Chau Doc.

We depart for  Chau Doc town about 120 km away by private car, check in hotel and to to Cave pagoda to enjoy the beautiful sunset from the mountain. Have dinner before coming back to hotel. Overnight in Chau Doc.

DAY 3: FLOATING VILLAGE – TRA SU FOREST (breakfast, lunch, dinner)

After breakfast, we will floating village where the locals raise a lot of fish underneath of their house in Mekong River. It’s a very interesting place to visit in Chau Doc. 

Then we will go to Tra Su forest. The most interesting feature here is that tourists travel by motor-boat or dinghies as they weave through the forest. Tourists will enjoy enormous emerald-green duckweed that blankets the water’s surface, as well as flocks of white storks that perch on cajuputs together with many kinds of birds and fish.
