After picking up tourists at a bus station or center of Can Tho (If you are in Sài Gòn, we will help you to book bus tickets OR we manage a private car to Can Tho city) we will take a taxi to our resort with Mekong style in suburb of Can Tho City, check-in and then we can take a bike tour around the village to see daily activities of the Mekong locals, experience beautiful and peaceful country along a nice small canal, we will visit a black-smith, then visit a very famous local house where we will learn how to make BANH HOI MAT VONG, a very special fresh rice noodle - only one place making that kind of noodle in Viet Nam.

Then keep going along the very beautiful countryside road, enjoy coconut juice and tropical fruits. After that we ride back to mini resort. Free time to enjoy the swimming pool until dinner with local foods.

At 6:00 am, we will take a small boat to the Cai Rang Floating Market – the biggest wholesale floating market in the Mekong Delta. The Cai Rang Floating Market is well known for its variety of fresh fruits and other local products. Hundreds of boats still gather there to buy and sell every morning. We will have breakfast and coffee at the market, enjoy fresh pineapple on the local’s boat. This is a unique opportunity to experience daily life of the Mekong locals, we have time to chat with the locals.

Afterwards, we visit a local house to see how the locals make rice noodle “hu tieu”. On the way back we will visit Cocoa garden to see first-hand how the locals make fresh chocolate and get to taste some. Following this, we will get back onborard the boat and journey into a very beautiful canal with lots of water coconut on both sides of river. If you are intersted in rowing the boat, there will be an opportunity here to learn (depends on the tide, we can go through the canal or just a short distance) to get back to Ecolodge and check out before 12 pm.
