CAN THO 3 DAY TOUR

Day 1: Pick up tourists around 1 pm in Can Tho city or Can Tho airport, drive to our beautiful mini resort 12 km away from center. On the way we have light lunch with “banh xeo”- Vietnamese pan cakes/ something else. Check in, then walk around the village, get to know daily activities of the locals or take a small boat to small canal. Back to our Ecolodge and enjoy your time at the swimming pool.

You can learn how to make 1 kind of traditional cakes such as, charged 400.000/group (not included). Have dinner and stay over night in our ecolodge ( Light lunch & dinner)

 

Day 2: Start at 5:30 am, we take the small boat to Cai Rang Floating Market – the biggest wholesale floating market in the Mekong Delta. The Cai Rang Floating Market is well known for its variety of fresh fruits and other local products. Hundreds of boats still gather there to buy and sell every morning. We will have breakfast and coffee at the market, enjoy fresh pineapple on the local’s boat. This is a unique opportunity to experience everyday life on the Mekong.

Afterwards, we visit a local house to see how the locals make rice noodle “hu tieu”. On the way back we will visit Cocoa garden to see first-hand how the locals make fresh chocolate and get to taste some. Following this, we will get back onborard the boat and journey into a very beautiful canal with lots of water coconut on both sides of river. If you are intersted in rowing the boat, there will be an opportunity here to learn (depends on the tide, we can go through the canal or just a short distance).

After that, we will do biking tour around a beautiful village along canal to see daily activities of the locals. On the way we will stop to try coconut juice, and then keep riding to visit a local house and learn to make FRESH rice noodle, only one place in Vietnam making this kind of noodle. and have lunch with it. Then we will visit another local house to enjoy some fruits and learn how to make banana cake. Then keep riding on beautiful road back to our ecolodge, free until dinner (lunch, dinner)



Day 3:
We will visit Phong Dien land market with many interesting things that we really want to know, drive back to have breakfast and check out before 12 pm. (Breakfast)

Includes: Small boat, English-speaking guide, biking tour, floating market tour, local fruits, 1 soft lunch with local food before check-in, 2 dinner and breakfast at ecolodge, learn how to row the boat, learn how to make FRESH  rice noodle and banana cake.
